It is not just investment in the Clubhouse and its facilities; we continuously look at how we can improve the course too.
One of the current improvements is the reshaping of the par five, sixth hole, to turn it into a challenging dog leg.
During the winter the remainder of the trees have been removed from the riverbank, as you will see in the photograph taken from the fifth tee above, and this area is now being cleared for seeding of the new fairway.
The next stage is for trees to be planted on the existing fairway to make players drive down the left hand side of the hole, towards the river.
If all goes to plan we expect to be playing the re-designed hole during the 2018 season.
